8.To open up the fish by hand, hold the fish with the
head end toward you. |
9.Insert the tip of your right thumb into the fish, a
little to the left of the spine. |
10.Push your thumb up to the tail in that position to open
up the back end of the fish. At the same time pull your left
thumb tip back toward the head. |

11.The fish has been opened up. |
12.Hold the fish close to the tail with your left hand. |
13.Pull out the spine, beginning from the tail end and
using your thumb tip to push the spine away from the flesh. |
